What a wonderful initiative that our team at the Oval Café brought across our table this Christmas, receiving a donation of the wonderful oil painting done by Joanne Kaschula,
valued at R3100 along with the staff, donating their Christmas party funds to the cause, it was an inspiration after the long year we’ve been through.
We managed to raise around R8000 and we thank all that took part in the raffle. The kids and families of Skaapkraal farms had a wonderful day.
Congratulations to Gareth Rosslee, on drawing the lucky winning ticket, I’m sure this piece of art will look stunning wherever he decides to hang it “thanks again Joanne”.
Through this great achievement, there were funds left over to donate R700 to the” Ladles of Love Fill-a-pot feeding the 5000 campaign” and once again a huge thank you to the generosity shown by our wonderful club members and the Park Estate community, through the initiative of the team at the Oval café, Rondebosch Sports Club.
